ORIGINAL WORKS
This section is where I showcase all of the original fiction and art I've compiled over the years. The star of the show is my series Different and Cool, a story about a middle school student and his relationship with the geekiest girl in school. Also on this page is Psych Masters, a sort of side-story of Different and Cool that chronicles the adventures of two young street fighters and their struggle against the gangs in their hometown. You never know what odds and ends might pop up here, so be sure to check it all out.
Cast of Characters
Andrew Champion (center)
Andy is the main character of Different and Cool, a fourteen-year-old attending Starlight Junior High. He has been known to go with the flow most of the time, but ultimately has a strong conscience and a hidden inner strength. Andy has a close relationship with his extended family, who took him in after his parents died in a car accident. He also enjoys karaoke, and has a karaoke machine in his house.
Justin Bishop (left of Andy)
Justin is Andy's friend, and the heir to the Bishop Corporation. Though he has a cold air about him, he is known to pull pranks now and again. Justin can be rather contemptuous of people, and has little tolerance for what he deems is "un-cool." Justin will sometimes use money to get what he wants, but he can be very hands-on too.
Slick C. Limestone (right of Andy)
Slick is Andy's other friend, and Justin's sidekick. He is a flirt, and a bit of a goofoff. Slick can be found teaming up with Justin on his mischievous endeavors, but doesn't have the same ruthless edge Justin has. Secretly, Slick enjoys magical girl shows.
Maru Mari (far left)
Mari is the most popular girl at Starlight Junior High, and Andy's crush. She is an all-star athlete at basketball and soccer, but bad at chemistry. Mari doesn't let her popularity faze her; in truth, she is lonely for real friends, as opposed to hanger-ons. She is friendly, and has a sense of humor.
Tarah Reichardt (far right)
Tarah is the least popular girl as Starlight Junior High, and Andy's classmate. She enjoys nature and insects, and can be eccentric and clueless. Tarah is a generally cheerful and energetic girl who is almost always well-intentioned. Though the other girls give her a hard time in gym class, Tarah is also a good athlete.
GAME
Moonlighters is an action-platformer game that takes place 7 years after the events of Different and Cool. Take control of Andrew Champion and Tarah Reichardt, using their blades and guns to clear out the dream demons and defeat the evil Thanatoes!

Teacher at Starlight Jr. High. Mr. Trent Clark is a skilled master of the sword, and a resolute ally for Andy and Tarah.

Andy's mysterious adversary makes his debut! Appears in "Different and Cool: A Test of Island Courage."
Moonlighters
Early concept art for a Different and Cool spinoff, which eventually became the Moonlighters game. Andy fights with the Seiryu Sword, and Tarah uses the Crystal Rose Staff.
